TerraOverview interpretation: industrial site reporting releases to the EEA within 500 m of the point
The European register of industrial emissions (Directive 2010/75/EU and the E-PRTR) holds, within 500 metres of the point — a distance TerraOverview chose — a site that reported releases for the year shown. Name and activity are those the operator reported; the pollutants appear only where the site map carries them, and the quantities stay with the source. It is not a measurement of the air at the address and not an assessment of risk, and the source publishes one point per site, not the outline of the plant: a large works is a single point.
