TerraOverview interpretation: high baseline seismic hazard (band 1 of 4: reference acceleration above 0.25 g)
At the nearest grid node, INGV computes a peak horizontal acceleration above 0.25 g with 10% probability of exceedance in 50 years. It is the highest of the four intervals OPCM 3519/2006 defines for this quantity. The value is for rigid ground and excludes local amplification; it is not the municipality’s seismic zone, which the Region assigns by its own procedure and with a tolerance of 0.025 g.
