TerraOverview interpretation: soil consumed around the point, measured on the ISPRA map
TerraOverview counts the 10 metre pixels of the national soil consumption map inside two circles around the confirmed point, one of 100 and one of 500 metres, and reports how much of the soil the map covers is under artificial cover — permanent or reversible, as ISPRA distinguishes them. The class of the pixel at the point is the source’s instead, in its own words. There is no threshold at which TerraOverview would call it too much: it is a measurement of the context, not a flag.
